Jennifer Strom, MBA, MFT, is an experienced advisor to families who own shared assets, including operating businesses, family offices, real estate, and philanthropic enterprises. She specializes in supporting multi-generational families as they navigate transitions in wealth and ownership, with a focus on preparing the rising generation and fostering durable family harmony. Through thoughtful structure and education, Jennifer helps families protect both their assets and their relationships. She partners closely with family members, advisors, and family offices to support values-aligned ownership, effective decision-making, and stewardship across generations.
With a unique blend of an MBA and formal training as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Jennifer is adept at using both empathy and clear strategies to help clients achieve their goals. She understands the intricate interplay of wealth, values, and decision-making, and skillfully guides families through transitions and wealth transfers. Her expertise lies in recognizing the potential opportunities and challenges faced by families in this space, and she excels at fostering open communication, education, and collaboration around rising generation engagement.
Jennifer is an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Lecturer at the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, as well as a featured speaker on family dynamics and governance at industry events.

Personal
Jennifer is the mother of twin college-aged girls, living in Connecticut with her family and cuckoo (yet adored) dog. She is a runner, skier, hiker and lover of anything outdoors, and thrives on visits to her extended family in Colorado and exploring mountains anywhere.
