In 1995, a landmark survey captured how American family enterprises approached ownership, governance, succession, and family dynamics. Thirty years later, Plante Moran and The Family Business Consulting Group have partnered to revisit that study — offering a rare, data-driven look at what has changed, what has stayed the same, and what family enterprises should be paying attention to now.

Join us for the local release of The American Family Business Survey 1995–2025: A 30-Year Benchmark Study. The morning opens with networking over breakfast, followed by a presentation of the study’s key findings and a panel discussion exploring what the data means for families navigating succession, governance, and next-generation engagement today.

The panel will include Brannon Fisher, whose great-grandfather and his brothers started what is now Ball Corporation in 1880 — bringing a firsthand family business perspective spanning generations of ownership and stewardship.
