The most rewarding part of my work is when the family comes together to write a new chapter in their lives. It’s when I see the joy in their eyes when some concept or distinction clicks with them. That ‘Aha moment’ makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Richa is a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group, specializing in conflict resolution, communication, organizational behavior and human resources. Her experience includes educating and creating awareness amongst business families, facilitating family meetings, designing structures and creating and implementing family charters. Her skills include teamwork, collaboration and people management.
Richa started her work as a family business consultant in India — a growing economy and a hub for big and small family businesses. Working with the sheer volume of the family-owned enterprises gave Richa an immense, but humbling understanding of the intricacies of an enterprising family, its unique characteristics and the art and science of family governance.
Before her journey with family business consulting, Richa was the Executive Director for a group of engineering, management and commerce colleges where she was responsible for all the operations and administration of the campus with over 3000 students and 300 staff. Her knowledge draws from 14 years of consulting as well as teaching organizational development, human resource development and entrepreneurship. Richa’s areas of expertise lie in family governance, leadership coaching, organizational development, HR & entrepreneurship development and constitution building.
She is a teacher and a student of Human and Organizational Behavior and is passionate about working with people. Richa is strong believer in unlimited human potential and the inherent good that is present in all human beings and advocates that right guidance could be the trigger needed for the transformation of anyone.
