What we do Presentations & Workshops
Our work and your success
begin with education.
Educating families and those who support them is at the heart of what we do. Our educational programs break down complex challenges that families in business face and shed light on the opportunities they present. We produce more than 100 educational sessions every year for enterprising families, franchisees, dealers and trade associations.Drawing on deep expertise, real-world experience and the latest research, our team creates custom keynotes, workshops, webinars and presentations to give audiences the knowledge and confidence to take positive action.
For Family Audiences
Our team has an incredible depth and breadth of experience with a wide variety of family business topics, from governance and conflict resolution to leadership and succession. For audiences familiar with family business issues and systems, our presentations can be both high-level and deeply practical. Presentations are always customized to the audience so they’re applicable to their specific situation.
For Trade Associations, Franchisors & Dealer Groups
In many industries, the majority of companies are family-owned and/or operated. Many also deal with common family business issues every day that have a negative impact on decision making, management and competitiveness. Yet they often aren’t aware there are ways to minimize the damage and align the family to provide a competitive advantage.
Our team has had the privilege of presenting for a range of franchisees and dealers, as well as corporations, associations and other groups. For industry audiences, we often present introductory-level topics for family businesses, followed by similar topics targeted to non-family companies.
For Advisors
Any advisor to family business or family wealth will eventually meet with challenges due to complicated family dynamics. These issues can become obstacles that prevent family members from acting on their professional recommendations.
As non-competitive resources, we have extensive knowledge of the ways the family business structure and dynamic affects decisions around investing, estate planning, tax planning, ownership, compensation, strategic planning and more. Our presentations equip advisors to better identify when these issues affect their work and how to navigate them.
