Robert DeAngelis is a consultant at The Family Business Consulting Group, with a wealth of knowledge in guiding businesses through complex legal and fiduciary matters. He specializes in strategic planning, which plays a crucial role in mapping out the future of businesses, including leadership and ownership transitions.

“Robert has demonstrated his commitment to serving family firms through his consulting work, education and many years as a non-family CEO. He brings a great blend of practical business savvy and operational leadership with thoughtful guidance on the issues that face family firm owners,” said Kristi Daeda, president of The Family Business Consulting Group. “We’re excited to have Robert as part of the team and as a resource for the many families we serve.”

Robert’s journey in the realm of family businesses began when he joined a multi-state distribution company in the early 2000s. For over 12 years, he served as President/CEO, collaborating closely with three generations of the family as a non-family CEO. His dedication to supporting family enterprises deepened as he studied the work of John Ward, one of FBCG’s co-founders, through two Executive Education courses at Kellogg School of Management.

“I can’t image a better place for me as I expand my practice in serving families and business,” said Robert. “For 15 years, as a practicing CEO and Kellogg Exec Ed student, I have admired the thought leadership of FBCG. Now, as an FBCG consultant, I can add to that list: the culture, the people and commitment to excellence for clients.”
