This distinguished honor recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of family business practice.

A clinical psychologist and family therapist by training, David has worked for decades at the intersection of psychology, family dynamics, and multigenerational enterprise. His clients include entrepreneurial families, family offices, private trust companies, and families of wealth navigating the complexities of shared assets and governance. With a deep understanding of both individual and family systems, David brings extraordinary insight and care to families managing transition, conflict, and legacy.

David is the author of Family Wealth Continuity: Building a Foundation for the Future and Managing Conflict in the Family Business: Understanding Challenges at the Intersection of Family and Business. His writing has appeared in respected publications including Private Wealth Magazine, Family Business Magazine, and The Journal of Practical Estate Planning. He has also served on the clinical faculty at Northwestern University’s Family Institute and taught marital and family therapy at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.
