We’re pleased to welcome Jake Morrill as a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group.

Jake works with family enterprises navigating the leadership, relationship, and governance challenges that emerge across generations. He is known for helping families step back from immediate pressures to see the larger patterns shaping their enterprise — how decisions get made, how responsibility is shared, and how family dynamics influence both the business and the family itself. He creates space for honest conversation and thoughtful reflection, helping families address tensions directly and build practices that support long-term continuity.

“Jake Morrill has been a steadfast guide and partner to families across his career, including over 10 years coaching leaders and consulting to private businesses,” said Kristi Daeda, President & CEO of The Family Business Consulting Group. “We’re thrilled to start a new chapter together in service of family firms.”

Before joining FBCG, Jake spent two decades leading mission-driven organizations through periods of growth and change. Over the past ten years, he has coached leaders and consulted to private businesses facing complex organizational and interpersonal challenges. He also serves on the faculty of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family, where he teaches leaders how to apply family systems thinking to organizational leadership. Jake is the author of five books and previously served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserve.

“My mission is to help families lead well together, across generations,” Jake shared. “Joining FBCG means doing that work in collaboration with the deepest bench of family enterprise advisors in the world.”

Please join us in welcoming Jake to the FBCG team.
