Kalli Nallick

Kalli brings expertise in organizational development, facilitation, and conflict resolution to her work as a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group.

In her work with enterprising families, Kalli helps address family dynamics and the conflict that can arise during transitions. She draws on her training and experience as a psychologist to guide and coach family members through disagreements and competing needs, and on her mediation training to help families and business partners work through disputes.

Kalli’s background in management consulting and organizational development also allows her to help families develop effective structures and processes to support the family and the business as they grow and transition across generations.

She also works as an executive coach, helping organizations address difficult leadership behaviors and supporting individuals and teams as they navigate interpersonal and departmental conflict. Kalli is a Women in Family Business Peer Group Leader for the University of St. Thomas Family Business Center, where she facilitates a peer group for women who lead or work in family enterprises.

Kalli has worked with family businesses for more than 10 years. Before founding her own advisory firm, Executive Confidante, she spent eight years with the Hay Group in Tokyo and three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, also in Tokyo, where she learned how successful businesses are structured and how to help leaders, managers, and employees perform at their best.

Personal

Kalli and her husband make it a priority to have at least one family dinner a month with their kids, no matter how busy everyone’s schedules get, and she cherishes that time together. They enjoy traveling (when not working on house renovations!) and seeking out great local restaurants, whether close to home in Minnesota or on the road. Kalli has also spent about 14 years living in Japan across several chapters of her life—starting as an exchange student—and holds a deep appreciation for Japanese culture and traditions, along with many lasting friendships.
