Lydia is a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group with over 20 years of global financial and management experience. She guides families through the complexities of business ownership and governance, facilitating meaningful transitions.

As a seasoned consultant, Lydia uses her strengths as an executive coach to help families navigate the unique challenges of generational businesses. She fosters open dialogue among family members to align goals, establish governance structures, and ensure all parties’ interests are considered as strategies are developed.

Lydia is dedicated to preparing the rising generation by engaging them in their roles within or outside the family business. She focuses on enhancing their leadership capabilities and cultivating stewardship skills, all while recognizing and respecting each individual’s unique path.

Her passion for family dynamics was ignited during her tenure with HSBC’s Global Family Wealth Initiative, where she observed a disconnect between wealth management strategies and family governance. This inspired her to integrate her corporate experience and executive coaching to empower families with the frameworks needed for successful generational transfer and effective family business governance.
