The most rewarding part of my work is helping families rediscover that they're on the same side, so they can build the future they want — together.

Jake Morrill

Jake Morrill works with family enterprises navigating the leadership and relationship challenges that arise across generations. He supports families in strengthening leadership, addressing conflict constructively, and developing governance practices that support continuity and long-term success.

His work focuses on guiding families to see the larger patterns shaping their enterprise—how decisions are made, how responsibility is shared, and how relationships influence both family unity and business performance. By creating space for thoughtful reflection and productive dialogue, Jake helps families to build leadership capacity, work through tension directly, and establish structures that support continuity across generations.

In addition to his work with family enterprises, Jake serves on the faculty of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family, teaching leaders how to apply family systems thinking to organizational leadership.

Earlier in his career, Jake spent two decades leading mission-driven organizations through periods of growth and change. The author of five books, he also previously served as a Chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
