Lynn Clarke is an independent board director with consumer packaged goods, digital, e-commerce and retail expertise. Currently, Lynn is a director of several family held companies, including Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages a $500million+ 3rd generation company that was one of the early adopters of an independent board. She is also Chairman of Nielsen-Massey Flavorings. Recently, she was asked to join the first independent boards for two other family-owned companies. Lynn has repeatedly seen how independent directors can guide private companies to successfully and profitably extend generational success.
Her experience includes 17 years of branding, marketing, and operations roles at PepsiCo & General Mills, four years as CEO of private equity-owned companies and 11 years as CEO and owner of a direct to consumer e-commerce/digital business that was awarded the E-Commerce Innovator of the Year by the International Housewares Association.
Lynn’s goal as a board member is to help businesses profitably grow by understanding digital disruption and develop brand building strategies based on a deep understanding of consumer and customer needs with the objective of transcending the competition.
Peter Philippi is Chairman and CEO of Strategex Inc. and has over 30 years of direct experience working with top level management to drive change, profitability, and growth.
Peter manages a vast range of long-term client relationships; he is an exceptional communicator and facilitator with an unusual ability to bring cohesiveness to a management group, as well as a clear vision and direction. He conducts 80/20 Seminars and Workshops across the country in both the manufacturing and service sectors.
Steve Tourek practiced law as a commercial litigator for 27 years before trading the courtroom for the boardroom. He was recognized as a "Super Lawyer" and one of the Best Lawyers in America before accepting his position as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of The Marvin Companies where he serves a member of the Executive Team in a variety of strategic and leadership capacities. He serves as one of three non‐family directors on its Board. Additionally, he serves as President and a director of Unity Insurance, a pure captive insurance company.
Steve also serves in a variety of director and trustee positions for charitable, professional and industry organizations. He currently serves as a director and former chair of the Window and Door Manufacturers Association, The Warroad Care Center, trustee and chair of New Life Academy Governing Council. Steve also has served as a lead independent director, and currently serves as a non-executive chair and non-family director of several family businesses in North America. He has served as a member of the Senior Advisory Task Force of the MN National Guard and participant in the Commandant's National Security Program of the U.S. Army War College. He's a lecturer and mentor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
